Tarot Workshops

Over the years, I've learned that Tarot is best taught slowly.

Not rushed.

Not condensed.

Not delivered in a single intense burst of information.

Tarot is a language - and like any language, it needs space to settle, to be lived with, and to become personal.

I run three workshops across the year. Each one stands alone, yet together they form a complete and coherent pathway. They are intentionally spaced to allow for reflection and integration between each stage of learning.

This is not about collecting techniques. It is about developing clarity, confidence, and discernment.

Some people attend a single day. Others choose to follow the full pathway across the year. There is no pressure to commit to everything at once - the work unfolds in its own rhythm.

About the Workshops

The Structure for 2026

Major Arcana

Saturday 7th March | 10.30am–3.30pm

The Major Arcana represent archetypal thresholds — the larger patterns, life cycles, and initiations that shape our experience.

This workshop builds strong foundations. We explore the cards beyond keywords, looking at how they operate in real readings and in lived experience. It is suitable for those newer to Tarot, as well as those wishing to reconnect with the depth and structure of the deck.

Minor Arcana

Saturday 5th September | 10.30am–3.30pm

The Minor Arcana bring Tarot into everyday life — emotions, thoughts, relationships, work, decisions, and practical realities.

This workshop focuses on translating symbolic language into real-world context. It supports students in reading with nuance and precision, rather than relying on memorisation.

Held in early autumn, this day allows the work to feel grounded and applicable.

Court Cards

Saturday 10th October | 10.30am–3.30pm

The Court Cards are often the most misunderstood part of the Tarot.

Rather than viewing them simply as personality types or “other people” in a spread, this workshop explores them as modes of consciousness — ways energy is expressed, embodied, tested, and stewarded.

This day is particularly valuable for those who want to deepen their confidence in relational readings and boundary awareness.

How the Workshops Are Held

Each workshop is:

  • A full-day, in-person training (10.30am–3.30pm)

  • Taught in a small group setting

  • Priced at £235 per workshop

  • Booked and paid for individually, in line with my usual booking policy

Participants are asked to bring their own lunch, a bottle of water, and a pen. Tea and coffee are provided.

Why Space Matters

I plan my teaching year carefully.

Tarot workshops are not placed back-to-back, and they are not layered on top of one another. Each one has room to breathe within the wider rhythm of Coven gatherings, Sound Baths, and rest.

Learning integrates best when it is not hurried.

This structure allows you to:

  • Practice between workshops

  • Reflect on what has shifted

  • Develop your own reading voice

  • Build confidence steadily rather than forcefully

Who These Workshops Are For

These days are suitable for:

  • Those beginning their Tarot journey

  • Readers who want to move beyond memorised meanings

  • Practitioners seeking greater clarity and structure

  • Anyone wanting to read with more confidence and ethical awareness

The emphasis throughout is on grounded, embodied understanding — not performance.

If you would like more information or to reserve a place on any of the 2026 Tarot workshops, please book on the Services page.

I look forward to holding these days with depth, clarity, and space for genuine learning.

Tarot Workshop FAQs

Do I need prior Tarot experience to attend?

No prior Tarot experience is required for the Major Arcana workshop. It is designed to support beginners as well as those who already work with Oracle cards or other intuitive tools.

The Minor Arcana workshop does require a foundational understanding of Tarot structure. Participants should have completed the Major Arcana workshop with me, or have equivalent experience elsewhere.

Is this workshop about predicting the future?

No. These workshops focus on Tarot as a symbolic language and reflective tool, not fortune-telling.

You will learn how Tarot speaks through archetype, pattern, and lived experience, and how to read with clarity and grounded insight rather than fixed predictions.

Will I receive a certificate?

These workshops are educational and experiential, not certification-based.

They are designed to deepen understanding, confidence, and fluency in Tarot rather than provide formal accreditation.

Can I attend just one workshop, or do I need to do all?

Each workshop is complete in itself.

  • The Major Arcana workshop can be attended on its own.

  • The Minor Arcana workshop builds on Major Arcana foundations and is recommended after completing the first workshop.

  • The Court Cards are explored as modes of engagement and stages of development, rather than fixed personality types in their own workshop.

You are welcome to attend one or all, depending on where you are in your Tarot journey.

Is this workshop suitable for professional readers?

Yes, particularly for readers who wish to:

  • Move beyond memorised meanings

  • Strengthen symbolic fluency

  • Read with more confidence and nuance

The workshops support both personal practice and professional refinement.

How long is the workshop day?

Each workshop is a full one-day experience, with breaks built in, starting at 10.30am and ending at approximately 3.30pm.
The day includes teaching, discussion, experiential exercises, and integration time.

Are these workshops held online or in person?

These workshops are held in person, as the learning is relational, experiential, and embodied.

Group size is intentionally limited to support depth and engagement.

Can I drop in late or leave early?

Because these workshops are held as contained learning spaces, full attendance is strongly recommended.

Arriving late or leaving early can disrupt both your experience and the group field.

What if I need to cancel?

Tarot workshops are held within a limited-capacity container.
Cancellation and transfer terms are outlined clearly at the time of booking and align with my general workshop policies.

Please ensure you can attend before booking.

How often are Tarot workshops offered?

Tarot workshops are offered a small number of times each year to preserve depth, integration, and quality.

They are not run on a rolling or frequent basis.

How do I know if this workshop is right for me?

If you are drawn to Tarot as:

  • A language rather than a list of meanings

  • A reflective and symbolic tool

  • A practice that deepens over time

…then this workshop is likely a good fit.

If you are looking for quick techniques, predictive methods, or casual drop-in learning, this may not be the right container for you.

Final Note

These workshops are designed to be held, spacious, and intentional.
If you feel called to attend, trust that impulse — and if not, honour that too.

Are These Workshops for You?

These Tarot workshops are for you if you feel drawn to Tarot as a living language, not a set of fixed meanings to memorise.

It may be a good fit if you:

  • Want to understand how Tarot works, not just what each card is “meant” to mean

  • Are curious about archetypes, symbolism, and pattern rather than prediction

  • Prefer depth, reflection, and integration over fast techniques

  • Are comfortable learning in a small, contained group setting

  • Are willing to engage thoughtfully and stay present for the full day

Many people who attend are:

  • New to Tarot but want a solid, grounded foundation

  • Experienced with Oracle cards and ready to work with a more structured symbolic system

  • Returning to Tarot after feeling confused, overwhelmed, or disconnected from it

This workshop supports confidence, fluency, and trust in your own perception, rather than reliance on external authority or rigid interpretations.

This Workshop May Not Be for You If…

This may not be the right container if you are:

  • Looking for quick meanings, shortcuts, or predictive techniques

  • Wanting a casual, drop-in learning experience

  • Expecting certification, accreditation, or professional endorsement

  • Hoping to observe rather than actively engage

  • Unwilling to sit with ambiguity, symbolism, or reflection

This work is intentionally slow, spacious, and immersive. It values quality of attention over quantity of information.

A Final Invitation

If you feel quietly drawn rather than urgently compelled, that’s often a good sign.

This workshop is offered a limited number of times each year to preserve depth and integration. If it feels like the right moment, you are welcome to join. If not, trust that another opportunity — or another path — will meet you when it’s time.

Tarot Teaching Code of Ethics & Principles

Tarot is a symbolic language that speaks through image, pattern, and lived experience.
As a teacher of Tarot, I hold this work as relational, reflective, and ethically grounded, rather than predictive or prescriptive.

The following principles guide how Tarot is taught and held within my workshops.

1. Tarot as a Language, Not a Verdict

Tarot is approached as a living symbolic language, not a system for declaring fixed outcomes or absolute truths.

In teaching Tarot:

  • Cards are read in context, not isolation

  • Meaning arises through relationship and pattern

  • No card is inherently “good” or “bad”

Participants are encouraged to engage with Tarot as a tool for insight, reflection, and awareness, rather than certainty or control.

2. Personal Responsibility & Sovereignty

Tarot does not replace personal choice, agency, or lived decision-making.

Within my teaching:

  • Tarot is never positioned as an external authority over someone’s life

  • Participants are encouraged to trust their own perception and discernment

  • Responsibility for interpretation always remains with the reader

Tarot is a mirror, not a mandate.

3. Boundaries Around Prediction & Dependency

Tarot is not taught as a means to:

  • Predict unavoidable futures

  • Diagnose health conditions

  • Replace professional, medical, legal, or therapeutic support

Nor is Tarot used to foster dependency on readings or readers.

Ethical Tarot practice supports clarity and self-trust, not reliance or fear.

4. Respect for Lived Experience

Each participant brings their own history, beliefs, and sensitivities into the space.

As a teaching principle:

  • No one is required to share personal material

  • Personal reflections are invited, never demanded

  • What is shared within the group is treated with respect and confidentiality

Tarot learning is held as an invitation, not an exposure.

5. Symbolic Literacy Over Memorisation

Tarot is taught through:

  • Imagery

  • Pattern

  • Archetypal movement

Rather than rigid meanings or scripted interpretations.

Participants are supported to:

  • Develop fluency, not recall

  • Build relationship with the cards

  • Allow understanding to deepen over time

This honours Tarot as a language that grows through use, not mastery.

6. Cultural & Historical Awareness

Tarot carries historical, cultural, and symbolic layers that deserve respect.

In teaching Tarot:

  • Lineages and influences are acknowledged where relevant

  • Simplification is avoided where it distorts meaning

  • Tarot is not treated as a novelty or trend

This work is held with care, context, and integrity.

7. Teaching as Transmission, Not Performance

Tarot teaching is offered as transmission and guidance, not performance or persuasion.

This means:

  • No pressure to adopt specific beliefs

  • No hierarchy of “right” interpretations represent superiority

  • Space for questions, ambiguity, and not-knowing

Learning Tarot is a process, not an achievement.

8. Integration Beyond the Workshop

Tarot is not meant to be “completed” in a single day.

Participants are encouraged to:

  • Continue working with the cards after the workshop

  • Allow understanding to unfold gradually

  • Integrate Tarot into life gently and responsibly

Teaching provides a foundation, not an endpoint.

Closing Principle

Tarot is most ethical when it:

  • Strengthens self-trust

  • Encourages reflection rather than fear

  • Respects the complexity of human experience

This code exists to ensure that Tarot is taught in a way that is grounded, spacious, and respectful, honouring both the symbolic depth of the cards and the sovereignty of those who engage with them.
